Staff Report TheStatehouseFile.com INDIANAPOLIS — TriMedx, a provider of healthcare technology management services, is expanding its business in Indiana with plans to create up to 108 new jobs by 2020. The company serves more than 1,800 healthcare facilities around the world and will exceed $500 million in revenue for 2016. TriMedx will invest more than $21.5 million in its Indiana operations to keep up with growing demand, according to a news release from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation. “Indiana’s life sciences industry is advancing new solutions and changing the face of healthcare thanks to companies like TriMedx,” Lt. Gov. Eric Holcomb said in a statement. “Indiana is the world’s leader in medical device manufacturing and ranks second in the nation for life science exports.” The new jobs are expected to offer average salaries more than 80 percent higher than the state’s average wage. The Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered TriMedx up to $1.15 million in conditional tax credits and up to $200,000 in training grants based on the company’s job creation plans. These incentives are performance-based, meaning until Hoosiers are hired, the company is not eligible to claim incentives. The city of Indianapolis will offer additional workforce assistance at the request of Develop Indy, a business unit of the Indy Chamber.
